NCCP-CERTIFIED PRO CYCLING COACH
“In coaching, for me, it’s all about the athlete and the performance of their sport. Having the experience of accomplishing what they may not have known is possible and making it a reality. I look at the athlete as a whole person, with a body, brain and bike, mix that together with the principles of exercise physiology, kinesiology, psychology and watch that athlete grow.”
Barb has been coaching for over 20 years, racing for over 25, and is passionate about bringing people to the sport of cycling as a newcomer, or helping riders with their goals of being the best they can be.
Some of her career highlights include 2016 BC Master Female Cyclist of the Year, 2016 American Games Road Race and Time Trial gold medalist, 2-time gold medalist in Road Racing at the Master's World Games, UCI Masters World Champion, and team member of the 3-time winners of the Gran Fondo.
